Q: What is the different between models and options?

A: There are three basic configurations for the MIZ-200 which are reflected by model number. After you choose a model number there are four additional options to select from.

Model numbers and what they support:

  • Model 200: Supports Tubing Inspections
  • Model 200A 64: Supports Tubing Inspections and Surface Array Inspections
  • Model 200IR: Supports Tubing Inspections, Surface Array Inspections and IRIS Inspections

The options available vary according to the model number. Here is what each option supports:

  • Option 1: Adds support for RFT High Voltage Probes
  • Option 2: Adds MFL probe support
  • Option 3: Adds Eddy Current Surface Array support (128)
  • Option 4: Adds Eddy Current Surface Array support (64)

Q: What software is included with the MIZ-200?
A: The data acquisition module, Velocity™/AQ, is included with the purchase of the MIZ-200.
Q: Does Velocity Software work with other instruments?
A: Yes, Velocity™ Software is compatible with other instruments as follows.
  • Velocity Software AQ module: MIZ-200 and MIZ-85
  • Velocity Software AN module: MIZ-200, MIZ-85, MIZ-28, MIZ-27,  Omni-200, MS-5800, and TC-7700
